FROM VLZLA TO MCO TO PTY TO MIA | PHASE II
MCO - ORLANDO, FL
So... it was time to move to Orlando
Moving to Orlando was hard... new school, new house, new country, new friends. Even though I am very easy going and talkative, I would always end up at my school’s library. FUN FACT - I broke a record in the library after reading more than 100 books throughout my senior year 🤓 (they even gave me a chocolate bar and a certificate) - yeah i know, I'm kinda nerdy...
Throughout the years I met amazing friends, partied some - worked a lot more, and struggled some more with where I wanted to go... so much that I wanted to get a career in Art (I am very passionate about art- funny thing is, either way I also ended up studying art years later at @sothebys Institute of Art 💙), yet thought I had a better shot at being a graphic designer.
Flash forward to some amazing years... I started freelancing in college, while working for a printing shop as their creative and graphic designer. I loved working at the shop, it made me realize how much I liked production processes and paper! I remember always requesting paper samples before I even started any project. I am a bit of a paper freak📃 and I also believe that paper is a huge component in the design process, it can either elevate the piece or tear it apart..
After almost five years... we had to move to Panama. I’ll tell you more about it in the next post of this series 🤘🏻
