Prior to any negotiation, you should do some research about basic information regarding the company:

πŸ“ Primary contact information (name, phone number, email address)

πŸ“ Project description (Details regarding the project that is being negotiated)

πŸ“ Services that the client needs (Make a thorough study of the brand and list down which creative services they could need, because it could potentially turn into an opportunity to promote more of your services)

πŸ“ Existing branding (products, media, collateral pieces)

πŸ“ Deadlines (How much time you need to complete the projects)

πŸ“ Projected expenses (How much will it cost? Is it a flat rate? How many hours?)
