FROM VZLA TO MCO TO PTY TO MIA - Phase I

FROM VZLA TO MCO

FROM VZLA TO MCO TO PTY TO MIA Is the name of my new series of blog posts, all about me. I wanted to share my story with you guys, ups, downs and middle-ground! Even some things that have helped me out as well!

I left Venezuela in my teen years, along with my family, and moved to Orlando, FL. It was a rough transition, I found out we were leaving literally seven days prior to jumping on the plane... I remember packing, and how even though I had some clothes in my luggage, my most important asset was my sketching book and my pencils kit. Ever since I was little, I have always had my pencil kit and a sketchbook everywhere I went. I used to paint a lot with oils as well. I mostly started painting with oils because every time I would visit my grandma, she always had this old painting kit and her paintings were hanging all around her house, and I wanted to follow her footsteps. The sketching started when my aunt @mflairet gifted me this @fabercastellusapencils kit, which I still have!
I will tell you more about my process when I got to Orlando in the next post from this series!

Did you have to leave your country too? I would like to hear all about your experience!
